You Can Help Other Teens. . .Volunteer Here !

Life can be challenging, even difficult at times. TeenLine strives to make help safe and available whenever someone needs it. We believe it helps to talk things out, to know that you are not alone, and to know what resources are available. Because of this belief, we offer all students the opportunity to call and talk with a caring, non-judgmental high school student about any problem or concern they are having. You can make a difference in your peer's lives by offering a listening ear and providing information as a TeenLine Volunteer. You'll become part of a caring, resourceful team and have the chance to learn about yourself and your community. So, what does it take to be a TeenLine volunteer? Who do we look for? Students who are:

· Open and accepting of views and choices different from their own

· Respectful of other's right to make their own choices

· Able to remain calm and effective during times of crisis

· Sensitive and aware of feelings, in themselves and others

· Able and willing to respect confidentiality

· Dependable, punctual and committed to helping others

If you think you have what it takes then check out our requirements and send in an application. We'll be waiting!
